Nicole Kidman's Most Romantic Braid Hairstyle

Nicole Kidman has been coming up with one impeccable look after another during her time as jury member at the 66th Cannes Film Festival. For her latest appearance at the screening of La Venus à la Fourrure (also known as Venus in Fur) by Roman Polanski, the iconic Hollywood actress hit the red carpet in a monochrome Chanel dress, complete with sequins AND ruffles.

While Nicole's hair essentially stole the show, the rest of her beauty look deserves some attention, too. As always, she went for understated make-up with some very subtle smoky eyeshadow, black mascara and a natural lip colour.

These have been Nicole's beauty staples throughout the festival (alongside a whole lot of hairspray) and it's easy to see why. Such a simple combination helps her to emphasise her favourite features without making her make-up seem overworked.

We've been in lust with Nicole Kidman's beauty looks for a long time but after Cannes, we think she might just be our new favourite beauty queen... although Barbara Palvin's orange eyeshadow certainly puts her in the running, too.
